Your diet is the MOST important part when it come to working out and gaining muscle. You can work out as much as you want but if you do not have a proper diet, you WILL NOT see the proper results you should be seeing. That is why you NEED to learn the best foods for muscle gain.

Many people who I know personally who work out do not eat the proper foods. First of all you can not be eating junk food like fast food chain restaurants, because that is simply not gonna cut it. Some people might feel that they simply do not have the time in their day to make the meals that they need to eat. Chicken Breast is perhaps one of the most popular foods when it comes to workout diets. Depending on how it is cooked, 1 piece can contain anywhere from 20-45 grams of protein which is a big plus in my book.

Tuna Fish is one of my favorite foods. The typical can I eat is the flaked tuna and a single can contains 35 grams of protein. Like a lot of people I do not like the taste of eating tuna straight out of a can so I will mix it in with other foods like pasta, salad, basically anything that will help me taste the tuna less.

Eggs Are another favorite of mine, the typical egg that you buy at the grocery store will have 6-10 grams of protein. The way I like to have my eggs is in the morning just like rocky balboa in the movies, raw and in a blender. But if you do not like them that way you can fry them on a pan, just use the healthier cooking oils.

Low Fat Yogurt is someone I have every other day. The typical 150 gram serving will have 6-8 grams of protein. I usually have yogurt during my lunch hour or just before I go to bed.

Fish is another good source of protein. I am personally not a big fan of fish just because I never really been a big fish eater but I do admit it is one on the best foods that provide a lot of protein. A regular serving of fish which is about 100 grams or 3.5 ounces will give you about 20-25 grams of protein.
